From next summer, Vanmoof will be selling two new e-bike models, the S5 and A5. One of the novelties is the Halo Ring Interface.
Next to the handles of the handlebars you will find two LED light rings, from which you can read, among other things, how fast you are cycling and what the remaining battery level is. There is also a separately available smartphone holder in the making.
Handy for navigation and nice is that the phone receives power from the battery of the e-bike via a USB-c cable. A separate power bank is therefore no longer necessary.
Price
Of course there are more improvements compared to the earlier S3 and X3 that date from 2020. You read about it on the VanMoof’s website† The S5 and A5 cost 2498 euros.
