I am a 65 year old woman and want to have my facial hair lasered off. I wonder if that puts me at risk of pigmentation or white spots. My skin is quite sensitive to (brown) age spots. Do you know anything about this?

Frankly, I don’t know much about this, except that research into the long-term effects of lasering is scarce. These types of treatments are used to remove all kinds of spots from the face. It works in the short term, but you cannot rule out the possibility of the skin discoloring again in the longer term. That is difficult to research scientifically; after all, you don’t know what the spots would have looked like five years later without laser treatment. I would ask the practitioner, but keep in mind that these kind of clinics and institutes are out to make money.
