The police car was chasing a motorcycle itself
No, it’s not a mistake in the title. The Lamborghini driver in this story was chasing the police instead of the other way around. An inconspicuous police car (picture above is for reference) was chasing a motorcyclist in Helmond and the Lambo driver in turn gave chase. He probably thought he could play sports with another road user.
“He effortlessly kept up with our inconspicuous surveillance car when we tried to track down a motorcyclist,” the East Brabant police said on Twitter. In the end, they were able to clock the 47-year-old Lambo driver at 60 km/h too fast and the driver’s license was withdrawn. It is not known whether the motorcyclist has also been arrested.
People on Twitter are mad, as always
Perhaps even more striking are the reactions on Twitter. “Oh, what heroes in your stealthy car. Your mother will be really proud of you’, someone says, but of course without punctuation. Someone else doubts whether there was a motorcyclist at all: ‘Believe it yourself, just deeply sad, first drive hard for a Lambo and then take his driver’s license. Sad cowardly bananas in the Netherlands.’
