After oxygen, water is the most important element for our organism. However, even without moving, our body constantly evacuates a part of the water of which it is composed. To compensate for losses due to sweating, breathing, urine, stool or evaporation, we therefore need to drink at least 2 liters every day.
This water will:
- Allow our body to eliminate waste and toxins;
- Help regulate our body temperature;
- Provide minerals essential for the proper functioning of our body and facilitate their transport to the various organs;
- Allow good hydration of the skin.
But what we know less is that if we do not drink enough, a number of the activities of our body will slow down. In addition to this decreased performance, not hydrating properly can lead to dry skin and mucous membranes, headaches and fatigue.
