The 60 Million consumers association has drawn up the blacklist of toxic substances present in household products, and proposes to replace them with natural recipes, just as effective.

60 Millions de consommateurs publishes, in a new special issue (April 2016), a survey on the toxicity of household products. After having scrupulously analyzed the composition of a hundred of them, the observation is clear: the ” almost all contain one or more unwanted substances », Allergenic, irritant, carcinogenic, corrosive, or bad for the environment.
Among the brands pointed out by 60 Millons we find in particular Ajax, Canard, Carolin, Cif, Cillit Bang, La Croix, Mir, Mr Propre, Persil, Destop or even Minidou. Brands of products used by millions of French people every day. According to the consumer association, these products are responsible for the increase in the number of allergic people in France.. ” Nearly 30% of French people are already allergic », She analyzes. ” A number that has doubled in twenty years“.
Clean your house with natural products
60 million consumers therefore offers its readers to get rid of these dangerous products and replace them with less expensive, much less harmful and just as effective products. 100 product sheets and 300 recipes are thus made available to consumers to teach them to do without chemical descalers, for example, and to replace them with white vinegar.
Before buying a product, the association recommends taking a good look at the label and avoiding the following chemicals at all costs:

6) Hydrochloric acid (hydrochloric acid)
Irritating to skin and respiratory system, corrosive
7) Oxalic acid
Irritating to skin and eyes, corrosive, liberates toxic gases if mixed
8) Sulfamic acid
Irritating, corrosive, toxic to aquatic organisms
9) Alkyl ethoxylates and derivatives
Irritating, toxic to aquatic organisms
10) Benzisothiazolinone
Irritating, allergenic, toxic to aquatic organisms
11) Butoxyethanol (EGBE)
Irritant, possibly carcinogenic to humans (US EPA)
12) Benzalkonium chloride
Promotes the appearance of resistant microorganisms
