A hair is healthy when its vascular, hormonal and metabolic environment is healthy. If an imbalance occurs, this causes the alteration of the hair, then its fall. Painful or even distressing, the substantial loss of density and volume is often badly experienced. For the dermatologist Pascale Neulat, although impressive, the hair loss in women can in most cases resolve within a few weeks.
We give you the procedure to follow to maintain (or even gain) in volume.
1. Spot the warning signs
Every day we lose between 50 to 80 hairs, which is completely normal. It is necessary to react when a larger quantity of hair is noticed at the bottom of the bath or shower or when passing the hand through the hair, there is a loss of density and volume to the touch under the fingers.
2. We determine the origin of hair loss
In women, the causes of hair loss are numerous: after a pregnancyfollowing an illness, a very strict hypocaloric diet, a great state of fatigue and of stressto seasonal changes, due to too heavy periodsstopping the pill or menopause.
And if you can’t determine any reason yourself, you make an appointment with a dermatologist.
3. We avoid aggravating factors
Failing to remove them completely, it is a question of limiting all the gestures of brutal traction exerted in a repeated way such as braids, very tight hairstyles, brushings, too energetic brushings. Not to mention the excessive friction that attacks the scalp during shampooing or drying, as well as the hair straightening which considerably weaken the hair and the scalp.

4. We change our habits
Pamper your hair as soon as you wash it with a mild sulfate-free anti-hair loss shampoo (and why not a low poo, the milder than mild shampoo ?) to be used in small quantities under lukewarm water, gently massaging the scalp. Once or twice a day, stimulates the scalp with an anti-hair loss lotion by gently peeling off the skin of the skull from the fingertips, for 30 to 45 seconds. An easy and anti-stress gesture!
5. We rectify our diet
The body needs iron of animal origin found mainly in red meats and black pudding, trace elements such as vitamins B1, B2, B3 and zinc to draw from legumes, bread, cereals and wholemeal pasta.
In the event of a fall, supplementation with amino acids, trace elements and vitamins is strongly recommended. Lasting 3 to 4 months, it must be higher than the recommended daily intake either by doubling the doses or by combining two food supplements (Cystiphane Biorga + Novophane ACM for example).
