An idea comes to your mind along the way, you make a note of it on your mobile and once you get home you want that idea available on your PC as well. You either need to manually retype the note or use software that allows you to sync notes across multiple platforms. Simplenote is one such tool. After creating a free account, you can take as many notes as you want and they will be immediately available on all your devices, where you can also search them extensively. There are apps for every operating system, but you can also use the web interface.
