We take plenty of photos with our phone and the question is, of course: what is the most convenient way to get them on the PC. There are apps for both iOS and Android to get the job done, and Apple users can set up iCloud in Windows to automatically download photos and videos. However, Microsoft also offers a solution in the form of Photos Companion. This app — a tip from one of our readers — lets iOS and Android users create a temporary Wi-Fi connection to Windows 10’s Photos app to transfer files. Unfortunately, Companion does not support Ethernet.
