Anyone who has ever edited photos has loved it GIMP heard. This comprehensive photo editor was not for every Windows user because the Linux background of the program provided the necessary quirks. However, there is now a new version – which a Computer Idea reader tipped us off – that feels much more familiar. If that were all we wouldn’t pay attention to it, but the program has also been completely revamped under the hood, so that it now offers 32-bit color depth and color management, among other things. This allows GIMP to compete much more with commercial photo editors.
