Ever since the early versions of Windows, PC users have complained that File Explorer doesn’t offer a double window like the time-honored Norton Commander from the MS-dos era. Over the years we have therefore discussed the necessary alternatives such as Total Commander, Free Commander and Multi Commander. However, we were most charmed by Clover 3.0.406 (CID 2015/20 – note the version number!) that adds tabs and favorite folders to the familiar Explorer look and feel. That works easier, while the environment remains familiar.
