Last October, the National Assembly had agreed so that pharmacists can perform the influenza vaccination people over 65. But this amendment to the Social Security budget bill was then amended by the Senate, which restricted this possibility of vaccination. “only to people benefiting from a health insurance voucher”.
Last night, the deputies therefore restored the possibility for all adults to go to their pharmacist to be vaccinated against the flu. This experiment will last three years. During this period, pharmacists will be paid for this service.
MEPs adopted the entire draft budget by a show of hands. It will pass again before the Senate on Thursday, for a second reading before returning to the Assembly.
