Numerous studies on the positive effects of essential oils have been published around the world in the most serious scientific journals. We know for example that:
BreatheHEY lavender increases the production of relaxing waves in our brain. The measurement was performed by electroencephalography.
The essential oils of lavender, tea tree and rosemary alleviate anxiety and psychological distress. A double-blind study against placebo was carried out in Ireland, in a department of neurology, on patients in long stay.
The EO of ravintsara diffused in the ambient air of a room makes it possible to reduce the propagation of viruses and microbes. In France, Dr Blanchard, from the CHU de Sarlat, carried out a study in this direction which showed that the regular distribution of ravintsara had reduced the number of lung infections contracted in hospital.
A mixture of 41 essential oils (Puressentiel Assainissant®, on sale in pharmacies) has been shown to be effective against respiratory disorders during a test on the quality of life of mild asthmatics. Due to the acaricidal, bactericidal and fungicidal efficacy demonstrated in vitro for essential oils it contains, the product decreases the amount of mites in indoor air without the aggressiveness of a synthetic acaricide.
