Even if the restyling of the Dacia Duster is discreet, it is not without influence on the prices of this compact SUV. It is indeed accompanied by the disappearance of the first level of finish, Access, very little distributed, which brings the base price below the € 15,000 mark.
[Mise à jour le 30/08/2021] The new Dacia Duster 2021 has been put to the test. There are certainly no major aesthetic changes on this restyled Duster, but small changes should be noted, especially on the Eco-G gasoline-LPG version.

***
Since the first Logan, Dacia had gotten into the habit of offering a very stripped-down basic version. A way to display a great price in advertisements … even if almost all customers finally opted for the higher versions. The restyled Duster breaks with this tradition. It draws a line on the first level of finish, Access, which was available from 12,490 € and represented less than 1% of sales. The range therefore starts with the Essentiel variant, which loses the standard air conditioning in the process to lower its price by € 1,010. If you are ready to do without this still very useful equipment, especially for resale, it is therefore still possible to buy the Romanian SUV for less than € 15,000. The latter starts at € 14,490 with the 1.0 Eco-G 100 gasoline-LPG. Honor is safe, it is always without competition.

Cleaning the engines
The engines have also been cleaned up, with only 13 engine / gearbox / transmission combinations instead of 26 previously. In addition to the disappearance of the 1.0 TCe 90 petrol, which was at the same price as the Eco-G, we especially note that of the 1.5 Blue dCi 95. In diesel, there is therefore only the 1.5 Blue dCi 115, displayed at 16,990 € in Essential; this is an additional cost of € 2,500 compared to the 1.0 Eco-G. As the latter will also be able to seduce heavy-duty drivers thanks to its enlarged LPG tank which would offer it up to 1,250 km of autonomy, the future does not seem rosy for diesel. At the same time, Dacia has removed the TCe 130 and 150 4 x 4 versions, CO reduction2 obligatory. For those who want all-wheel drive, billed at € 2,300, the Blue dCi 115 therefore becomes the only proposition. Back with this restyling, the EDC double-clutch gearbox is reserved for the 1.3 TCe 150 petrol, which now receives it as standard.

Rising prices and equipment
The number of options has also been reduced: the Duster now only offers 11, instead of 18 previously. You will no longer be able to add a multimedia system with a touch screen or alloy wheels on the Essential version. The second trim level, Comfort, can no longer receive blind spot surveillance, multi-view cameras, the exterior look pack or heated front seats. Only the top of the range Prestige can still have it, while the leather upholstery disappears completely. Note also that after a first increase of € 200 a few weeks ago, the price increases again by € 250 on Comfort and € 400 on Prestige.
In return, the equipment is also expanding. The Comfort finish, which was content with a simple radio until now, is now equipped with the new Display Audio multimedia system with 8-inch touch screen, smartphone replication and two front USB sockets. Its 16-inch alloy wheels also benefit from a new design. On the Prestige version, the Media Nav Evolution system is now supplied, with navigation, Wi-Fi smartphone replication and 8-inch touch screen. We also note that the blind spot warning no longer requires a supplement (200 € before re-styling) and that the rear passengers benefit from two new USB sockets, installed on a high central console acting as an armrest in the front.
