Two nights spent at -4 ° C
An argument that the CPAM of Bordeaux does not want to hear since the structure asks it to repay its debt in two years. But Hélène Duflot cannot meet the deadline and risks having to sell her house. She is therefore asking for a period of four years which the CPAM has rejected. Following the latter’s refusal, she decided to sleep in front of the primary health insurance fund from 10 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. She then leaves to treat her patients. Despite the current cold (-4 ° C this Thursday evening), the nurse has already spent two nights in these conditions.
“She has no other recourse than to take this action. We approached the CPAM to spread the debt over four years. At first, we did not receive an answer. Then we sent a first check for 10,000 euros which was cashed. And for two months the CPAM has withheld all of its teletransmitted fees to reimburse itself, leaving it without resources to pay its charges, ”explains Hélène Duflot’s lawyer. The latter received the support of a collective, created on social networks.
