Chicken curry
To prevent osteoporosis (bone loss), it is important to eat a diet rich in calcium. It is not difficult and can also be very tasty. This recipe comes from the book Osteoporosis, written by Prof. Dr Reineer Bartl.
Ingredients

3 large onions

4 large carrots

2 apples

500 grams chicken breast fillet

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon curry

iodine salt

freshly ground pepper

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon instant chicken stock

2 tablespoons raisins

½ teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation
Peel and finely chop onions, wash carrots and apples, peel and cut into strips. Rinse chicken meat under the tap, pat dry and cut into strips. Sear everything thoroughly in olive oil, stir in the curry, season with salt and pepper. Add the sugar and let it caramelize. Deglaze with 5 tablespoons of water. Sprinkle instant stock over it and stir through. Add the raisins and season with cinnamon. Let everything cook on a low heat for about 20 minutes. Rice goes best with chicken curry.
