The American, diagnosed last summer with uterine cancer, refused treatment at the hospital to leave to travel the road with her son and daughter-in-law.
2015 was not an easy year for Norma. Two days after the death of her husband Leo, a doctor announced to her that she had cancer of the uterus. The prescribed medical program is then classic: operation, radiotherapy, chemotherapy. His answer a little less: “I am 90 years old. I’m taking the road ”. After the surprise, the doctors decided to give him their blessing. “We see the terrible side effects of cancer treatments every day and honestly, there was no guarantee that she would survive the surgery,” says one. Since then, Norma has been accompanying her retired son and daughter-in-law, who live year round in a motorhome to be able to travel freely.

From the Grand Canyon to the Florida sun, via Yellowstone National Park, Norma now takes the time to ride in a hot air balloon, in a boat, in a smell the flowers, drink local beers and watch the animals.
