Apple has been playing it safe for years by equipping the iPhones with a notch. But what’s the next step after the notch? Presumably an iPhone 14 Pro with a hole-punch display!

With this, the smartphone eliminates the old-fashioned notch and there is only a notch for the camera. According to the Korean The Elec Apple is opting for this technology with the new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max in 2022.
As a result, the screen grows a little bit. The challenge for Apple lies in the FaceID technology. That is still safely hidden in the notch. Apple has to hide that behind the screen. Because the tech company is not going to make a compromise. Otherwise they would have swapped the notch, including FaceID, for a hole-punch display in the past.
Only the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will get a hole-punch display, according to this rumor. The cheaper models still have a notch. We’ll see, although the new iPhone is still a long way off. Aim for September 2022.
