The eco-solvent
It consists of ethyl lactate, a much less volatile solvent than acetone and ethyl acetate, found in traditional solvents. This ingredient is also much gentler on the skin and nails, but also on the respiratory tract. It is of plant origin, derived from a derivative of the fermentation of sugar, coming from corn. It is part of the composition of organic cosmetics approved by Ecocert, the certification body.
Castor oil
Its specific fatty acid, ricinoleic acid, makes this oil a beauty treatment with exceptional properties for nail health, skin and hair. For the nails, it acts as a real fortifying active and stimulates their growth. Particularly emollient, it also nourishes the cuticles.
How to use
– Soak a piece of cotton with nail polish remover. Place it on the nail to be removed.
– Leave the solvent to act for a few minutes, leaving the cotton in contact with the surface of the nail.
– Rub it gently over the entire nail and its periphery.
– Wash your nails thoroughly with soapy water, rinse them and apply a moisturizer.
– Keep this remover for six months.
– To remove glitter varnish, substitute the water in the recipe for alcohol or a neutral organic fragrance base. This will enhance the effectiveness of the remover in removing stubborn glitter. Then place a cotton ball soaked in this remover on each nail and wrap the ends of your fingers in foil wrappers that you leave on for five minutes. Take them off, your nails will be perfectly cleansed.
