Hanroad is the Van specialist in the galaxy of brands of the French group Pilote. It has made a specialty of transforming Renault Trafic. Here is the Hanroad Trek5 + XL, based on the long utility version with a fully sliding bench seat as a secret boot.

Hanroad: the novelty 2022
At the Van specialist brand in the Pilote group, the Hanroad Trek5 + XL plays the card of modularity. This model, fitted out on the basis of a long Renault Trafic (5.39 m format) as mentioned by the name XL, inaugurates a three-seater bench sliding over a large amplitude. This equipment, which offers great modularity, is characterized by the “plus” sign. Indeed, the rails placed on the ground have a length of 2.27m. When the rear seat is fully extended, the cargo space can easily accommodate two mountain bikes.
The Handroad Trek 5 + XL starts at € 52,400. The nomenclature of the Hanroad range is very simple, the number after the word Trek indicates the number of people that can be transported (4 or 5) which is also called the number of gray card places. Sleeping is limited to four people

The rest of the Hanroad range revolves around the Van:
- Trek4 (length 4.99 m and 4 seats) available from € 46,900 with a 120 hp dCi engine,

All models in the Hanroad range are fitted on Renault Trafic and have a height of less than two meters which allows access to car parks and undergrounds. The beds have a dimension of 130 cm wide by 185 cm long. The pop-up roof allows you to stand inside. The vans are equipped with a refrigerator with a capacity of 49 liters and a clean water tank of 60 liters. The kitchen module has a 2-burner piezo ignition stove combined with the sink with tap.
To note that the ecological bonus-malus does not apply to motorhomes! A motorhome is part of the M1 vehicle category. Those who meet the following criteria are to be excluded from the carbon tax (if compliant with European Directive 2001/116 / EC):
“Motor-home” means a category M1 special-purpose vehicle designed to be able to serve as accommodation and the living compartment of which includes at least the following equipment:
- seats and a table,
- berths obtained by converting the seats,
- kitchenette,
- storage spaces.
This equipment must be irremovable; however, the table can be designed to be easily retracted
