The organizers of Formula 1 offer Internet users a new kind of video. It is an immersive experience where you are no longer just aboard the single-seater, but in the driver’s seat, behind the wheel. Fernando Alonso took part in the game on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
It’s back to school time for F1 drivers! All the teams have arrived in Belgium, on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, for the 12e world championship round. During free practice, the organizers of the main discipline had fun installing a camera in the cockpit of Fernando Alonso’s single-seater. The device was positioned in his helmet, just at eye level.

The Spa circuit is one of the most spectacular and demanding of the F1 season. It has been on the calendar since 1950. The route, with its very green surroundings, follows the curves of the Ardennes massif over 7 km long. The experience offered by this on-board camera allows you to slip into the shoes of a pilot.

Fernando Alonso in his Alpine then becomes our guide in crossing the emblematic bends such as Raidillon, Eau Rouge, Pouhon and Blanchimont. Admire the speed at which the Spaniard takes his curves, some of which literally jump in your face. If you want to think of yourself as a pilot, make yourself comfortable and turn up the volume!
