Asparagus, whose season begins in April and extends into June, are particularly useful vegetables for the body.
They are composed of 92% water and are very low in calories : we can therefore eat it without asking any questions! They also have a composition that brings many interesting elements to the proper functioning of the body.
Good against hypertension
They contain potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron, which are good for bone health. They also play an interesting role against hypertension. Besides that, asparagus is a great source of vitamins and helps to strengthen the immune system.
There are different kinds, white (the cheapest), purple and green. The latter is the tastiest. They are of significant interest: it can be cooked in many ways, in the oven, in risotto, or simply boiled, for example.
