Organize your time well
Hard hard recovery. To avoid the unpleasant feeling of being under water, we organize our time. When you arrive in the morning, you take the time to plan your tasks for the day.
At noon, we avoid at all costs having lunch in fourth gear a sandwich in front of our computer screen because we don’t have time, we have two meetings, our emails to check…
We do not load the mule with a list as high as a cake (even for the superwoman that you are). Wanting to manage everything, you quickly feel stressed and on the defensive. Hello the atmosphere at work! We do things calmly by taking our time. And we learn to say no to colleagues who are accustomed to seeing in you a charitable soul. The key: a job well done and reassured colleagues.
Of course, we take breaks to reinvigorate ourselves and show off our little faces in the sun. For 10 minutes, you learn to do nothing and completely relax your muscles. We enjoy the soft rays of the sun on our face. Good for the complexion and morale!
Cultivate a positive attitude
In the morning, we wake up thinking of three positive things that will happen to us during our day: taking the bus, having lunch on the terrace, pursuing a professional project that is close to our hearts… A good way to reclaim the little pleasures of everyday life.
We ban negatives from our language: “I don’t want to”, “I don’t think so” and other expressions that tend to worry us.
Above all, we think about the present and not about what we are going to do this weekend or in the distant future. Being aware of the present moment allows you to make the most of it.
Create a decompression chamber between work and home
You already know it but a booster shot does not hurt, making the cut between the office and the time when you are at home is essential. At the end of the day, a 10-minute walk on the way back is enough to make us forget our worries. We are attentive to what surrounds us, the noises of the street, the expressions of passers-by. Why not sit on the terrace of a café or on a public bench? Once through the door of your home, we cleared our minds, we are more open and attentive to those around us.
Benefit from the virtues of the micronap
We can never say it enough, giving yourself five to ten minutes to take a nap or close your eyes is an excellent remedy for recharging your batteries. Between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. is the time when we tend to doze off. The opportunity to concentrate on your body by breathing through your abdomen with your eyes closed: you put your hands on your stomach which you inflate by inhaling through your nose. You then hold your breath for 5 seconds before exhaling through your mouth and nose, drawing your stomach in. An exercise to be repeated two or three times.
Saying that work is play…
Or how to distance yourself from conflicts and other stressful situations. One can carry out one’s work with seriousness while apprehending things with more lightness and humor. Laughter is a powerful anti-stress. In addition, meetings where the atmosphere is more relaxed will certainly be more productive!
