The sun is not only conducive to skin cancer. It also accelerates skin aging. Women who have exposed themselves too much to the sun tend to have more wrinkles.
Betting on BB creams with SPF is a good way to limit skin aging: the formula is more covering than a classic BB cream.
Some BB creams also have a sufficient level ofwaterwhich will allow you to hydrate your skin.
“BB cream can be useful as a moisturizer for young skin. If you have imperfections, it is ideal: not only does it moisturize but above all it blurs. BB creams moisturize unlike foundation. On the other hand, not enough for mature skin“, shares to Top Santé the Dr Isabelle Gallay, dermatologist.
If you have dry or mature skin, use a moisturizing day cream as a base and put your BB cream on top.
As for the BB cream with SPF, “she is fine if it’s mineral. If it just incorporates chemical protection, that’s fair. Just read the labels: mineral tinted. It varies between SPF 25 and 30. You then have a pseudo barrier“, says the dermatologist.
Watch out for the BB cream should not replace real sun protection in case of exposure.
