1Password for Mac supports native apps

Mac users can now download 1Password 8. The update allows the password manager to automatically fill in passwords for apps.

That means that 1Password again takes some work off your hands. You no longer have to manually look up an app password in your personal job; the manager takes over the work† The feature, called Universal Autofill, does require you to use a shortcut, but that’s significantly less work than finding, copying, and pasting everything yourself.

Although 1Password 8 is also available for Windows, that version of the program does not have Universal Autofill.

Update for 1Password for Mac

The update includes a few more fixes. As for the strange Chrome memory error and the slow and sometimes confusing interface. The company has spent months testing the recent update with more than 40,000 people, so we can imagine that quite a bit of feedback trickled in.

1Password has also been investing in other parts lately. The program also wants to store other types of information, such as your crypto wallets. In addition, the app can protect your e-mail address where necessary. What the company will offer in the future is not yet certain. But for now, Mac users can also have passwords filled in automatically in apps.
