Apple users are catered to. There will be a WhatsApp variant especially for the Apple processor.
The American tech company Apple has made a masterstroke in recent years. They said goodbye to Intel as chip suppliers and switched to an in-house developed chip. This processor was custom-tuned to fit the company’s Macs. The first generation M1 and now the M2 work perfectly with the computers of the brand from Cupertino.
Having your own chip is of course nice. But third-party software must also be able to work with it. Native support, as it is called, is essential for a sublime operation. Now it has become known that WhatsApp will get a special Mac app that is compatible with Apple’s chips.
At the moment it is still the case that the WhatsApp app on Mac was developed for Intel. So the new version is not. WhatsApp for Mac with the native support is now available in beta through TestFlight. In this way, the first Mac users can already get started with the test version.
