Slip into a bubble (2 minutes)
Do you feel upset, irritated? Isolate yourself, make yourself comfortable in an armchair and practice this exercise designed by neurologists. Imagine stepping into a large soap bubble and then gradually filling it with light and soothing sounds. Calming effect guaranteed.
Relax tired feet (3 mins)
In a seated position, place the handle of a broom on the floor, directly in front of you. Press your feet on them and gently roll them back and forth, working from heel to toe.
The good points to relax (3 mins)
1 If you feel anxious. Massage one of the acupressure points defined by acupuncture. Form a hollow with your left hand, then, with the right thumb, press the point located in the center of the palm, corresponding to the solar plexus.
2 If you have trouble falling asleep. Squeeze the point located on the outer side of the forearm, just above the bony prominence of the wrist.
3 If you have a headache from stress. Gently pinch the bone just below the brow bone: exert light pressure between the tip of the thumb and index finger.
A gentle awakening (7 minutes)
Before going to sleep, remember to program your clock radio or your hi-fi system to a classical music station, or put on your favorite CD. A great way to gently wake up from sleep. And start the day on the right foot!
