If there is one automotive phenomenon that is on the rise, it is that of youngtimers. These cars aged between 20 and 30 have seen their prices explode over the past five years. Just in time for the holidays, the Osenat auction house is organizing a sale on Monday, December 20 dedicated to these cars that make generations nostalgic.

French women have pride of place
Among the 47 lots displayed for sale, eight are French models. Of course, what would a youngtimer sale be without a Peugeot 205 GTI? The small bomb is one of the first cars that we think of when we talk about this automotive phenomenon. It is offered for sale here along with its very rare convertible version: the 205 CTI, estimated between € 20,000 and € 25,000. The specimen in question – a catalyzed 1.9 – is one of 12 ITCs exported to the Netherlands, whose particularity is their Sorento green color.
Citroën BX GTI 16S – 1988
Another GTI on display, but with the rafters this time: a Citroën BX GTI 16S from 1988 with 160 hp. Renault enthusiasts will also be able to find what they are looking for with models that have marked their time. This is the case of an R18 Turbo Break from 1983 which belonged to the family of Jean Rédélé or the Super 5 GT Turbo from 1987, estimated between 13,000 and 15,000 €.

Uncommon models
Osenat has gathered for this auction other rarities that could panic counters. A 1983 MG Metro Turbo will thus be presented with its French registration card with only 68,000 km.
For rally enthusiasts, an Audi S2 sporting a beautiful Emerald Green shade could change hands around € 35,000. Still in the green, but on the other side of the Channel, a rare 1995 Aston Martin Virage is among the lots for sale. Finally, for those who prefer to ride hair in the wind, the Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0 will undoubtedly have no trouble finding a taker.
