We all strive for a beautiful and healthy body. But to do that, some say we need a big wallet: expensive equipment, a personal trainer and membership of a sports club. Nothing is less true. Even with little or no money you can work on a body in which you feel good.
You don’t have the money for a personal trainer, equipment or gym membership. What now? Easy. You really don’t need any money for basic training.
Basic training
Train the major muscles at least once a week. Stick to a schedule of thirty to sixty minutes of exercise, three to five times a week. And, start every workout with stretching and stretching.
Examples:
- Stand up straight with legs apart, arms forward, or hands on your hips. Squat down. While doing this, press your knees out and keep them out as you come back up.
- Sit in a chair with your hands behind your back. Keep your arms straight, the fingers of both hands touching each other on the inside. Contract your pelvis and buttocks and keep the knees bent at a 90-degree angle. Then lift your feet off the floor and bring your knees toward your chest, slowly moving your upper body toward your knees. Repeat the exercise as often as you can.

You will be surprised at how much household furniture can serve as fitness equipment.
- Use a water bottle instead of expensive weights to train the muscles.
- Use paper plates as sliding equipment. Tie a paper plate with thick elastic under one foot and slide forward to exercise your glutes and hips.
- Use old tights as a resistance band. Sit on the floor with legs forward, hook the tights behind the soles of your feet and move your arms back as if you were rowing.
