Scammers also like to use such a service, because it does not immediately tell you where a link leads. Fortunately, there are websites that show what lies behind a shortened link. As:
On such a website you paste the shortened link. Confirm the input (often just ‘enter’) and you will see what the actual link looks like. You can then judge whether this link is reliable!
