The restyled Volkswagen T-Roc starts at € 27,990 with a range of revised finishes. The supply of engines remains unchanged. The 300 hp T-Roc R and the T-Roc Cabriolet are renewed. The German automaker has yet to reveal prices for the sports SUV.
Less than a week after being officially presented, the restyled Volkswagen T-Roc is available for order on the French market. However, the first deliveries are only scheduled for April 2022. Base price of German SUV increases by 730 € to settle at € 27,990 with the 110 hp 1L TSI petrol engine with manual gearbox and the Life finish which replaces the old entry-level named Lounge.
The T-Roc does without electrification
Aesthetically, the update of the T-Roc is understated. Slightly reworked lights, introduction of a luminous border at the bow, redesigned dashboard, more digital instrumentation and better quality interior materials are on the menu. Conservatism is even more important on the engine side since the offer remains unchanged; the T-Roc is not even entitled to the micro-hybrid version of its 1.5 L TSI block of 150 hp yet offered for the Golf. The range of finishes, on the other hand, has been revised. for better harmonization between the different European markets.
Best in basic configuration
In Life finish, the restyled Volkswagen T-Roc has the following equipment as standard :

The instrumentation is digitalized a little more, but the 9.2-inch screen remains an option, except on the top-of-the-range Cabriolet.
A mid-range rich in driving aids
The second level of the Style range notably adds:
- 10.25 “digital dashboard
- navigation system
- sign recognition
- adaptive and predictive cruise control
- reversing camera
- blind spot monitoring
- 17 inch alloy wheels
The Style Exclusive configuration brings in addition panoramic sunroof, adaptive Matrix LED lighting, leather upholstery, heated front seats, dark-tinted rear windows and 18-inch rims. At the top of the standard T-Roc range we find the sporty R-Line finish already offered on “phase 1”. Body kit, specific black upholstery, aluminum pedals and variable power steering characterize it.

The T-Roc R and Cabriolet still in the game
The 300bhp T-Roc R is also making a comeback with its sharp ground links, four tailpipes, 19-inch rims, Top Sport seats and badged door sills, among others. But its price has not yet been communicated.
Finally, the atypical T-Roc Cabriolet remains in the catalog, offered only in Style and R-Line finishes. In this last variant, it has the Discover Pro navigation system and therefore a 9.2 “central screen. This equipment, which remains optional for the rest of the range (not available on Life and Style) is billed at € 1,110. At 36,160 € minimum, the restyled T-Roc Cabriolet asks for 840 € more than its predecessor.

As for the 2022 ecological penalty grid, the T-Roc is penalized in gasoline to the tune of 230 to 360 €. In diesel, only versions with DSG gearbox are subject to the penalty of 50 and 540 € respectively (for the 4Motion).

The future owners of T-Roc convertible will also have to pay a tax of respectively 360 € for the 1.0 TSI and 983 € for the 1.5 TSI EVO.
