Delphina Mota gave birth to her daughter Cali in November 2017. A happy, healthy and always smiling baby girl as described by her parents on the American channel NBC. According to the complaint she brought against the hospital, she underwent a cesarean section without anesthesia.
At 41 weeks pregnant, Delphina Mota entered Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, Southern California, to induce labor. She receives an epidural for a vaginal birth. The doctor, no longer detecting the baby’s heartbeat, decides to perform an emergency cesarean section.
Lawsuit for physical and emotional trauma
According to the indictment, the anesthesiologist is then beeped several times, but does not arrive. Delphina Mota says she was “tied” to the operating table and the doctor cut her without anesthesia. “I started screaming ‘stop, I feel it all.
