The ban on the sale of e-cigarettes in the state of Massachusetts is scheduled until January 25, 2020, giving the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 4 months to investigate suspicious samples .
The state of Massachusetts is not the first to express reservations about vaping: Wednesday, September 18, 2019, the Indian government decided to ban the import, production and sale of electronic cigarettes to give ” better public health outcomes”. And on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, the State of New York took the decision to ban the marketing of flavored electronic cigarettes.
As a reminder, in a report made public on July 26, 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) considers electronic cigarettes to be “unquestionably harmful” and affirms that they “should not be promoted as a weaning aid”.
