The new iPads for 2021 are here

Apple kicks off the event with the new iPad. Or actually we should say iPads. Several models have been announced.

Brand new hardware for the iPad, while the appearance of the device has largely remained the same. Apple equips the tablet with the A13 chipset. According to Apple, this chip gives you 20 percent faster performance compared to the A12, its predecessor. According to Apple, the ‘regular iPad’ is currently the most popular model in the line-up.

The rear and front camera is also new. The camera performs better in poor low light conditions. With the 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, you also have a viewing angle of 122 degrees. Apple introduces Center Stage, from the iPad Pro, to the regular model.

Furthermore, True Tone technology is coming to the regular iPad. You can now also use the apple Pencil and iPadOS getting started in combination with the tablet. iPad Mini

The little rascal has also received an update. First, a new design for the device with an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display. Thin edges and round shapes predominate. There are also new colors. Namely purple, pink, Starlight and Space Gray.

Furthermore, the iPad Mini 2021 is equipped with the new chipset and the device will receive 5G support. Apple talks about an improvement of 40% performance and even 80% GPU performance. Now these are again typical superlatives of the American tech company. So do what you want with it. The tablet has support for the second-generation Apple Pencil.

Another important innovation is the support of USB-C instead of lightning. This makes the new iPad Mini a lot more practical to use. The front and rear cameras have also been updated.
