Popular models…
It’s hard not to find a Citroën 2CV at auction. Certainly the model is popular, but that does not mean that all its variations are equal. This is the case with this example from 1955. This is a very rare AZU version with visible springs. For the 1955 vintage, Citroën installs for a few months a suspension system by apparent springs on the 2CV. According to specialist Antoine Demetz, there are only about twenty copies of this type left in the world. La Deuche is estimated between €12,000 and €18,000. Another herringbone rarity, a BX 4 TC is one of the lots offered for sale. It has had only one owner since leaving the factory in 1987. Its highest estimate is €75,000. The price of a jewel of the mythical Group B.
Renault is not to be outdone with a pretty 4L Clan estimated at between €8,000 and €14,000. It comes from the same collection of a rally driver as another lot in the sale: a Clio V6 Phase II. We will also note the presence of an astonishing Renault 5 Le Car Van (450 units) and an explosive R5 Turbo Tour de Corse with 320 hp. Still in the world of rallying, a 1967 R8 Gordini could tickle the 50s 000 €. At Peugeot, the essential 205 is present in its Rallye version as well as in its sporty GTI Griffe version.
