Pear dessert recipe
Make a pear-based dessert, rich in antioxidants.
Ingredients for 4 persons :
- 8 pears, peeled and cut into quarters,
- 85 ml of maple syrup,
- 1/2 lemon squeezed into juice,
- 1 star anise,
- 1 vanilla bean,
- 3 g of cinnamon powder,
- 1 pinch of nutmeg.
Preparation (10 minutes):
- Peel and remove the core of the pears
- Cut each pear into 4 wedges and put them in a saucepan. Add the lemon juice as you go to prevent the pears from darkening.
- Split the vanilla pod in half lengthwise, press it to bring out a few seeds and add everything to the pan. Pour in the maple syrup, add the star anise, grated nutmeg and cinnamon.
- Cover and cook over medium-low heat about 15 min., Stirring occasionally, until pears are tender but not broken up.
