While walking I suffer from pressure points under my front feet. After walking for a while, it burns very badly and I can’t move a step anymore. Is it a good idea to go to a podiatrist about this?

If the complaints you have do indeed come from increased pressure on certain places on the underside of your foot, this is certainly something a podiatrist can do something with. A podiatrist looks at your complaints, looks at the movement in the foot joints and studies your stance and gait. If there is indeed a deviation in standing and gait that causes you these complaints, the podiatrist can correct or support the foot to optimize the pressure distribution so that you have less pain.
I cannot of course say whether your complaints are definitely caused by overpressure, they can of course also have another cause. But the podiatrist can also assess this well. It is certainly advisable with these complaints to make an appointment with a podiatrist in your area to have an investigation into the cause of the complaints.
Do you also have a question? Then ask one of our experts. Always go to your doctor with urgent questions, the experts are not the right person for that. They also do not diagnose. You can find the other conditions here.
