Ingredients
-
4 stewed pears
-
400 grams sauerkraut
-
300 grams split peas
-
1 block of smoked tofu
-
1 onion, finely chopped
-
salt and pepper
-
1 tablespoon coconut cream
-
2 tablespoons sesame oil
-
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
-
1 tablespoon shoyu
Preparation
Place the stewed pears in a pan with little water and add 1 teaspoon of salt. Let the stewed pears cook slowly. Then put the split peas in another pan with plenty of water and add 1 dessert spoon of salt. Let this also cook. Then puree the peas with the coconut cream.
Put the oil in a frying pan, fry the onion and the smoked tofu, cut into very small pieces. Add the shoyu after 15 minutes. Continue to stir fry for another 5 minutes. Cut all four stewed pears into four parts and place them in a bowl. Place the sauerkraut first and then the pea purée between the pears. Pour the onion-tahoe mixture on top. Then sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds and freshly ground pepper on top.
