The restyled Skoda Karoq was photographed on the road, almost naked, a few months before its official presentation. The compact SUV will visibly sport a clearly redesigned front end for an impression of increased width. A boon for illustrators …
[Mis à jour le 16/09/2021] Shortly after the appearance of a first prototype, it was time for illustrations. Our Russian colleagues from Kolesa have removed the little camouflage to offer the new face of the Czech compact SUV. At the rear, the lights are, according to the illustrator much larger than they are currently.

After four years of career, the Skoda Karoq is about to be restyled. And once is not customary, the update of the small Czech SUV should be seen. A photo of a very little camouflaged prototype, surprised to the test on the road, allows to discover notable changes to the front of the vehicle.
New look for the Karoq
The Karoq “phase 2” will keep its front lights in two parts but the upper blocks will be significantly smaller than currently. They will be glued to the grille, both wider and less high than on the model we know.
The air intake running through the front bumper will be entitled to the same treatment, which will both accentuate the seat of the vehicle visually and bring it closer to the brand’s latest creations from an aesthetic point of view. More minor changes are to be expected at the rear concerning the lights and the shield.

The Matrix LED headlights will also be present, especially on the high-end version.
The current wide range of powertrains, which include petrol and diesel, manual and dual-clutch transmissions, as well as two- and four-wheel drive transmissions, are also expected to be renewed. Obviously, prices will increase slightly in the process.
