· A giant red ribbon, 10m high, installed on the facade of the Town Hall, will be unveiled by Bertrand Delanoë on December 1 at 11:15 am on the forecourt;
The illuminations of the Eiffel Tower will be turned off at 6.30 p.m. for a few minutes, at the same time as the extinction of the Empire State Building and the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, as part of the operation led by UNESCO in countries around the world to draw attention to the importance of continuing to fight the HIV epidemic;
· The “café capote” operation in 250 Parisian cafes: condoms and coasters, using the visual of the “Paris protects love” campaign, are distributed free of charge in voluntary establishments, to raise awareness of the fight against AIDS;
· A poster campaign “Let’s stay mobilized! », Produced by AIDES, is broadcast on 880 municipal billboards, from November 25 to December 8;
· December 1 from 6.30 p.m .: “Jazz at CENTQUATRE”. The Paris City Hall, the 19th district town hall and Basiliade (an association for the care of the most disadvantaged people facing AIDS) are offering a festive and united evening. On the program: exhibition of works by Eddy Wiggins, a backstage photographer of jazz in the 1950s; dedication by Gilles Leroy, Goncourt Prize,
from the book Eddy Wiggins. Black and white (Naïve); concert by Marc Thomas’ quartet… Admission is free;
· A new brochure presenting the actions of the City of Paris for the fight against AIDS in Africa will be widely distributed (associations, partners, etc.), from December 1;
A 40-meter-long fresco, designed by the visual artist Vincent Malléa, will be installed on the forecourt of the Town Hall, from December 18, to celebrate the 25 years of struggle led by the AIDES association and its volunteers against AIDS.
