To respond to French health research, Marisol Touraine included the creation of the Public Health Information Service in the health system modernization law.
The aim of the santé.fr site is to “guarantee the coherence of public action around health information; improve French people’s access to reference information; develop tools to encourage the involvement of users in improving the health system,” according to the press release from the ministry.
The prototype of the sante.fr site for all Ile-de-France residents
Ile-de-France residents will be able to consult the site from March 17 sante.fr and by the end of March on Android and Apple the mobile application, the new “Health GPS”. They will find:
– a unique access to reliable and quality information, aggregated from the various websites of public institutions (prevention, information on diseases and treatments, etc.);
– a directory of health professionals, health and medico-social establishments, medical analysis laboratories, pharmacies (through the mobile application monpharmacien-idf.fr), etc
-a search engine, which will be enriched over time.
And they will be able to set up a personal account allowing them to configure the information and a notification and alert service (geolocated information on pollution, pharmacies on duty nearby, etc.).
In a second phase, between 2017 and 2018, the site will become national.
