Rolling coal in your Tesla
Not every EV driver can completely let go of petrol or diesel. In the Netherlands, for example, a Tesla is driving around with exhausts that also produce sound. These guys go a step further and even want to let thick diesel fumes come out of their Tesla. Youtube Channel Rich Rebuilds previously showed how much work it is to hang a combustion engine in a Tesla, so these handymen have a simpler approach. They hang a fake exhaust under the Tesla with a smoke bomb in it. The first attempt is an exhaust pipe under the rear bumper, secured with tie-wraps, of course.
The smoke bombs produce 90 seconds of thick black smoke and from a distance it actually looks like the thick diesel fumes are spewing out. Or rolling coal, as it is called there. The two pranksters then get an extra exhaust trim piece from the local car shop. There they immediately check whether they can order an oil filter for a Tesla Model 3 – that is not possible. The exhaust pipe is very professionally attached to the hood with specialist means, also known as duct tape. The smoke does not do wonders for the paint, by the way. Check out the video below.
