Renault is the new partner of the Roland-Garros tournament. If the manufacturer has not (yet) launched a special series, as Peugeot had before it, it offers a collection of derivative products (polo, fan, Panama hat, etc.) which it has named Renault Tennis.
The Roland-Garros tennis tournament is on! After more than 30 years of partnership, Peugeot has withdrawn for the year 2022. It is now its competitor Renault who officiates as the event’s premium partner. As such, the brand provides a fleet of 160 vehicles (including 100 100% electric Mégane E-Tech) to transport players and personalities. It also exhibits 4 models on a 150 m² stand within the stadium (including the R5 Prototype and the Austral). Finally, the logo is also displayed on the nets of the five main courts but also… in the stands!
A “Renault Tennis” capsule collection
Tennis fans have the opportunity to show their attachment to the internationals and to the manufacturer by treating themselves to one of the eight products derived from the “Renault Tennis” capsule collection. All available items display a specific logo consisting of a yellow circle and the new Renault emblem. It is affixed in particular to:
- a pair of leather sneakers (95€),
- the iconic Panama (€40),
- a polo shirt (25 €)
- a fan (€18)…
Find all the items from the Renault Tennis collection in our slideshow. The accessories are available on the manufacturer’s online store (shipping time within 7 days), at the Renault Workshop on the Champs-Elysées, as well as in the stalls set up in the stadium.
Special vehicles available…
At the same time, Renault is offering all tennis fans an original way – until June 3 – to the Roland-Garros stadium at Porte d’Auteuil. Departing from its store on the Champs-Elysées (Paris, 8and), the manufacturer is providing five R5s powered by an electric motor free of charge, as well as a TN4 bus from the 1930s. Three slots per day are offered. To board these vehicles, all you have to do is register on the Line to Roland Garros website. 25 places are available for each trip.
