Since Huawei’s smartphone branch has been on the ventilator (at least outside of China), the brand hopes to be more successful in other product categories. The MatePad Paper is now a fact, Huawei’s first e-reader. Although that description does the device somewhat short.
The gadget also serves as a digital notepad and a stylus is included for this purpose. The display would feel like real paper. To keep writings private, it can be secured with a fingerprint.
With apps
Because the MatePad, like many Huawei phones, runs on HarmonyOS, additional apps can also be installed from Huawei’s own app store (App Gallery). The suggested retail price is 399 euros.
