Product recall: supermarket yoghurts may contain glass

Caution is advised if you have purchased glass yogurts recently. About twenty references are recalled due to a “fragility of the pots at the level of their neck” resulting in the risk of pieces of glass being present in dairy products.

La Laitière, Carrefour, Delisse: many yogurt brands recalled

Due to the risk of injury they represent if ingested, the offending yoghurts have been removed from the shelves. However, some jars were sold before the measure was put in place. This is why the site Drink reminder warns consumers. The brands concerned by the defect are La laitière, Delisse (E. Leclerc private label), Monoprix, Envia (Lidl), Milsa, Casino, Auchan and Carrefour. Dairy products were sold in major retail chains throughout France.

Health authorities recommend that people who hold the recalled products do not consume them and return them to the point of sale for a refund.
