What do you apply for the complexion when you go to the beach?
Nothing, or almost! We take advantage of the beautiful days to assume our tanned skin which gives a youthful look and a healthy effect. In summer, complexion make-up is used to enhance the tan by playing on contrasts. At the beach, we are content with just a little coral blush on the top of the cheekbones to bring light and sculpt the face.
If we really have imperfections that we want to hide, we can use a BB cream because it is lighter than a foundation and often contains a UV protection factor. In the evening, sun powder can be used to mattify the complexion.
And on the lips?
We bring shine with gloss. The fashion is for a slightly pink gloss that goes very well with sun-kissed skin.
On the eyes, what do we do?
We are content to apply black mascara waterproof to open up the eyes; And if you’re a little more daring, you can apply a line of colored eyeliner along the eyelashes. For green eyes, we choose blue-turquoise to bring out the color of the iris, blue and brown eyes can turn to an electric blue which brightens the iris.
The little essential detail?
Nail polish with pop colors on the hands and feet. Play with colors to accessorize your tan.
The worst bad taste of beach makeup?
Put on eye shadow! It’s really not suitable for makeup that wants to be nude and natural. And then it can have disastrous consequences after a swim in the sea!
