A few words about Naturopathy :
Naturopathy is medicine based on the principle that the human body has an innate capacity for healing.
Naturopaths develop complete and effective therapeutic plans with traditional natural medicine methods aiming not only to treat the disease, but also to restore health based on: 3 cures, including detoxination, revitalization, and stabilization, as well as on 9 naturopathic techniques, including diet, phyto-aromatherapy, hydrology, breathing techniques, physical exercises, relaxation, manual techniques, psychology, reflexology.
What are the 6 fundamental principles?
1. Above all do no harm – naturopathic interventions minimize the risk of side effects and avoid removing only the symptoms.
2. The power of nature heals – naturopathy recognizes that there are self-healing processes in humans and aims to support or even improve this process.
3. Identify and eliminate the causes – the Naturopath identifies the causes of health disorders and treats them using natural therapeutic methods.
4. Detoxify and purify the body – naturopathy encourages the elimination of toxic overloads by optimizing the functioning of the emunctories (intestines, liver, lungs, kidneys, skin …).
5. Educate patients – the Naturopath teaches his patients the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle habits (diet and lifestyle). It guides people to effectively integrate a new way of life into their daily lives and encourages them to become aware of improvements in their health and general well-being.
6. Prevent disease – ” Prevention is better than cure “. Preventive medicine reduces costs, pain and distress and saves lives. This is why the Naturopath assesses the risk factors, heredity and vulnerability to disease.
Naturopaths strive to make their practice accessible to all and to have their activity more widely recognized by the competent authorities in natural medicine.
