A 7 cm human tissue cyst was extracted from the womb of a newborn baby. It was her twin, whose development was interrupted during the pregnancy.
At a time when ultrasound accompanies almost every pregnancy, it has become very rare to have the surprise of discovering two babies instead of one during childbirth. Except when one of the twins is hiding inside his brother! If it seems improbable said in this way, it is nevertheless what doctors of Mumbra (India) observed.

Fetus in fetus
This developmental anomaly, known as fetus in fetus or parasitic twin, is very rare: it would occur on average once every 500,000 births. And only 200 cases have been reported in the scientific literature.
In 2015, Marc Gozlan reported on his blog of a post about a little Chinese girl. She too had been operated on a few days after birth, and it was not one but two fetuses that doctors had removed from her abdomen. Analysis of the organs found indicated that the development of these twins must have stopped at the tenth week of pregnancy. More recently, a little Ivorian was operated on in Chicago (United States): she was born with the legs of her “twin” in the back of her neck!
The invisible twin
the fetus in fetus can also go unnoticed for much longer, years or even decades. The Independent recalls the story of Jenny Kavanagh, who, after years of abdominal pain, finally had a parasitic twin removed. He had spent 40 years near his ovary!
In 2013, it was Alexia, from Secret Story 7, who revealed that she had spent 14 years with her twin in her stomach. The young woman had specified that she had removed a cyst of 20 cm, which weighed 2 kilos!
