Many people turn their nose up at cans and frozen foods. A misconception, because you can also cook very well with these products and you are really not unhealthy. For example, try this paella with chicken and mixed seafood from the freezer!
Ingredients

250 grams of mixed seafood (frozen)

1 onion

2 cloves of garlic

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon saffron threads

1 small chicken breast

300 grams green beans (frozen)

150 grams peas (frozen)

½ can of diced tomatoes

300 grams of risotto rice

500 ml stock (from tablet)

bunch of parsley
-
pepper and salt
-
optionally 1 red pepper

optionally 1 lemon
Preparation
Let the seafood thaw. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Place them in a bowl and mix with the olive oil and saffron. Cut the chicken breast into cubes and mix with the onion-oil mixture. Let stand. Rinse the green beans and peas under hot water and drain. Heat a frying pan or paella pan and fry the chicken for a while. Add the canned tomatoes. Stir in the rice and cook briefly. Now add the green beans, peas and stock, stir well. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes until the rice is cooked. Toss the seafood through the paella at the end of the cooking time and let it cook. Season with salt and pepper. Finely chop the parsley and sprinkle over the paella. Sprinkle red pepper in rings if desired and add some lime wedges if desired.
