This day is an opportunity to discover osteopathy and to answer all the questions the general public has about this therapeutic method.
The proposed assessment lasts about a quarter of an hour and takes place in two stages. The osteopath questions the “patient” on the reasons for his visit but also on his medical, traumatic, surgical, family and neurological history. He then completes this first assessment with oriented and specific manual tests which will allow him to find the dysfunctions and to know where to intervene.
More than 100 osteopaths are already mobilized throughout France. In order to welcome “patients”, under the best conditions, on January 27, it is necessary to make an appointment by telephone.
The complete list of osteopaths participating in Open Door Day is available on www.osteofrance.com.
The Federal Union of Osteopaths of France, the UFOF is one of the four associations officially recognized as representative by the Ministry of Health in July 2003. It is the first French socio-professional organization of osteopaths with 1300 members. It was she who obtained from the government the exemption from VAT for osteopaths in 2007 and an increase in training hours (3520h) in the HPST law of 2009.
