My mother is 84 years old. She has deaf toes, sometimes gets electric shocks in her leg and also in her back. She can’t walk well and has orthopedic shoes to walk with, but I don’t see any results.

Your mother’s complaints that you describe are very similar to nerve complaints. The problem is that it is so difficult to estimate where it comes from, but usually when the leg and back also suffer from it, these complaints come from the back. However, this is very difficult to judge.
I advise you to discuss these complaints with your doctor.
